Hi Members of Slow Food Triangle,

I’ve been coming to the triangle area for about 50 years and have enjoyed watching the changes in food and agriculture, the farmers markets develop, the food co-ops, and the farm to school programs.  I’m cochair of Slow Food Yolo in CA (think UC Davis), and am coming to Durham on a family visit end of September/early October.  Anything going on with the convivium?  Would anyone want to talk about the extensive farm to school programs in CA and what you have going on?  I’ve been working on school food in Davis for about 10 years and we’ve accomplished a fair amount (public school, k-12, 9,000 students.)  Love to hear from people.  You can contact me at annmevans@aol.com.
