Hi, Slow Fooders of the Trianlge,
E.K. Powe Elementary School is having a kick-off event to celebrate our second year of fresh fruit and vegetable grant and our first year of composting and farm to school. To that end, we are looking for local farms and CSA’s who are interested in having a presence at our Fruit and Veggie Fest on Saturday, October 10, from 10:00-12:00. If you know of anyone who will be available or would like to have a presence to support FtS and composting, please email me at jenminnelli@nc.rr.com.
