Please use the following buttons below to make a donation to the Slow Food Triangle Terra Madre Fund:

Terra Madre 2010 takes place October 21-25 in Turin, Italy, and five extraordinary people from the Triangle have been accepted as delegates:
  • Sarah Blacklin, Carrboro & Southern Village Farmers' Markets
  • Anna Child, Core Sound Seafood and the Gillings Sustainable Agriculture Project
  • Alex & Betsy Hitt, Peregrine Farm*
  • Sabrina Lopez, Carrboro & Southern Village Farmers' Markets
Although Terra Madre covers all expenses during the conference, delegates must cover their own transportation costs to and from Italy. To help make this once-of-a-lifetime experience possible for our local delegates, we are organizing a series of fundraiser events to assist with their travel expenses, which could total more than $3,000.  *Please note that the Hitts are not accepting donations toward Terra Madre travel expenses.
